Algenol Biofuels is a new start-up company with locations in Germany and the USA developing  hybrid algae to produce ethanol from carbon dioxide, salt water and sunlight within a patented photobioreactor.

The project consists of laboratory and support spaces of approximately 40,000 Square Feet of interior build-out space and is one of the most Hi-Tech Laboratories of its type in the world.  In addition to the main lab space a new Product Development Unit is being constructed on adjacent property where various stains of algae will be grown in photobioreactors and condensed into ethanol.
